How does spending spring break in Paris sound? That opportunity is available to Western Nevada College students through an Education First College Study Tours program led by one of the college’s professors.
Gil Martin, the college’s director of art, plans to oversee a WNC contingent to “Paris: The City Experience†March 12-18, 2015.
“I’m excited to lead this study abroad trip for WNC students,†Martin said. “Paris is one of the undisputed art capitals of the world. It is a bustling and vibrant city full of so much history, culture and charm that’s it’s endlessly fascinating.â€
Students who sign up by October 15 will receive a $150 discount. Participants have the option of registering for Art 160, Art Appreciation, a WNC three-credit course that will be offered in conjunction wit the Education First travel class.
The trip’s itinerary includes guided tours of Place de la Concorde, the Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides; a walking tour of Montmarte; a trip to Versailles; and a one-day optional activity.
