An Undergraduate Research Seminar on Wednesday, Nov. 7 will provide Western Nevada College students with insight into research work, planning for it and developing some valuable contacts.
“The seminar is intended to let our students know about the opportunities for research both at WNC and at other institutions,” said WNC Student Success Librarian Rob Belbin. “Also, it will allow students to meet with mentors and students who have recently completed significant research projects.”
Attendees will also learn how to write a research proposal and meet representatives from NASA.
No reservation is required. The seminar is scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. in WNC Library, Room 201, in the Dini Building.
