Western Nevada College alums and instructors Debbie, Rachel and John-Henry Lambin were recently chosen to create a work of art to grace the 2019 Artown posters. Their book sculpture stands atop a 1940s atlas, with a view of the mountains in the background, and a ballerina, bassist and painter featured in front.
The family from Carson City has been teaching its unique form of art, which it calls “book art,” through the Continuing Education program at WNC since early 2019 and is pleased to be offering a series of seasonally themed classes this summer and fall.
Upcoming classes include:
- 3D Jewelry – Friday, July 26 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. or Saturday, July 27 from 2-4 p.m.
